Emilie Scalise grew up in Smyrna, Georgia and now resides in Columbus, Georgia where she attends Columbus State University as a BFA thesis student with a focus in drawing and graphic design. Scalise has exhibited her work in Beyond Go Figure VI, Bo Bartlett Center (Columbus, GA), and in the Student Juried Exhibition 2025 in the Illges Gallery (Columbus, GA). She is a recipient of the SRACE grant 2026 in support of her thesis exhibition and is a two-time published children's book author and illustrator.
